Kiki Schmitz

Kiki Schmitz is the On Campus columnist for ColumnVI. As a journalism major at the University of Missouri, Kiki spends the majority of her free time doing homework and pretending to know more than she really does.

Kiki spent her formative years in Mundelein, Illinois, channeling Pocahontas and perfecting the cartwheel-somersault combo in her backyard. Though she has never been particularly comfortable bragging about herself, or, for that matter, writing in the third person, Kiki has served as the News Editor, and ultimately the Editor-in-Chief of her high school newspaper and published pieces in The Chicago Tribune, The Daily Herald, and her local paper of choice, The Mundelein Review.

Notoriously enthusiastic, Kiki will grace ColumnVI with coverage of campus happenings, both at MU and beyond. In the future, Kiki hopes to be wildly successful.
